There is a very good and detailed post from David Johnson called The True Value of John Waters

It goes into some detail on measuring the likely value of online revenue for the Irish Times. It also give a very good introduction to Online Advertising 101.  One nugget that you can glean, though not stated directly, is that if Broadsheet is doing 29 million pageviews per year and is monitising at rates similar to the Irish Times it would be generating over €700,000 per year in revenue.  That’s not too shabby at all. Some detailed stat’s on Broadsheet are here. I’m sure someone will come back with the actual CPM for Broadsheet. It’d be interesting to put the exact figures together.

Similarly Damien Mulley has been coming out with some nuggets on running some Facebook campaigns recently with these two tweets giving some interesting facts
